Network Architect(Remote)

Full time, Atlanta, GA

BCD Travel is looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, yet detail-oriented Network Architect to join our Team, to hold technology responsibility for the organization's entire Enterprise Network, LAN, WAN, WiFi, Datacenter Cloud. As part of the team, you will develop, evaluate, design, and implement complex global network solutions based on strategic designs and industry best practices.

As a Network Architect, you will

• Develop and maintain accurate technical plans, drawings documentation, including high and low level designs to support projects and day-2 operations
• Prepare project plans and business cases, including schedule, resources, and budget estimates
• Ensure maintenance of the current network together with Network Engineers, including Capacity Planning, Disaster Recovery, Availability, Patch Management
• Performing technical troubleshooting and 4th level Operational support based on escalated tickets
• Maintain expert level knowledge through continuous education, be a consultant to other IT Colleagues, and a mentor and coach to IT Network Engineers

About you

• 5+ years of technical experience in a network architecture or engineering role preferably in a 24 x 7 IT environment
• Expert Knowledge of Physical and Virtual Switching / Routing environments, common network protocols, and dynamic routing
• Experience with design, documentation, and implementation of complex network solutions
• Strong Data Center Cloud Environment Background, preferred AWS, Azure
• Ability to maintain, develop and interpret written IT policies and procedures
• Advanced communication skills in English, oral, written, and presentation
• Willingness to travel and occasionally work outside business hours
• Cisco Certifications Preferred: CCNP/CCIE R S / EI or other comparable certifications
• Familiarity with ISO and PCI standards
