Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Network Administrator 1, we'll count on you to:
• Provide operational support for technology systems that are used by HDR business units to deliver services to clients
• Assist with establishment of standards and best practices for enterprise-wide network technologies
• Conduct tasks on design and implementation of new/upgraded network technologies under direction of Network Administrator 2 and Senior Network Administrators
• Focus operational support responsibilities on first-level administration and problem resolution of production systems
• Perform other duties as needed
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related technical area, or the relevant combination of education and relevant experience
• Minimum 0 years of experience with administration and support of technology systems
• Strong initiative and willingness for continual learning
• Good communication skills
• Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner when providing support for customer problem resolution
• Attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNA, Network+
- Hands on experience and knowledge of Cisco Networking Equipment: Switches, Routers, Servers as well as Cables, Racks, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, Latency
- Working technical knowledge of current software protocols, and Internet standards, including TCP/IP, HTTP , DNS, SMTP, FTP
- Experience and success with Cisco LAN, WAN, WLAN, and support and implementation
