Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has full-time Mid and Senior Network Engineer opportunities available based in Moehringer, Germany and Vaihingen, Germany. Qualified candidates for this job must possess a current DoD Secret security clearance and be eligible for DoD Top Secret clearance, NATO Indoctrination, and meet TESA accreditation requirements. ***TESA Certification allows employees the to be tax exempt for both Germany and US, in addition to other great perks***

This position is contingent upon contract award with an expected start date is March 2024.

Employees may be eligible for: relocation reimbursement, housing allowance, COLA and school reimbursement for dependents.

ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES

• Design, analyze, plan, modify, and maintain networks and network components supporting data, voice and/or audio communication activities.
• Prepares the analysis of short/long term capacity needs for switching, routing transmission and signaling.
• Conducts network architecture design, feasibility and cost studies as well as internal studies of network performance and traffic analysis.
• Evaluate new technology.
• Providing specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture; providing information for hardware and software selection; and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
• Conducts testing of network systems.
• Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switchers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
• Must have active passport.

Mid-Level

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience in DOD environment.

Senior-Level

• Bachelors and 5+ years experience in DOD environment. Masters and 3+ years experience in DOD environment.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Security+ and/or CCNA, CCNP certifications.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Cambridge International Systems complies with Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) vaccination requirements. If this position requires OCONUS travel (listed above), Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil lists applicable current vaccination requirements by location.

Office setting:

• Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.
• Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.
• May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
