ASRC Federal is seeking an Information Technology (IT) professional for the role of Network Engineerin support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Unified Cyber Situational Awareness (UCSA) program in Ft. Meade, MD.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Information Technology Systems Integration within the Department of Defense (DoD), required documentation skills, and the ability to support the Operation, Maintenance, and deployment of network devices, applications, and supporting software.
Establish connectivity with a new site to ensure successful accomplishment of mission timelines, goals, and tasks. Ensure that all required documentation is created and maintained including rack elevation diagrams, hardware lists, software lists, and warranty lists. Work closely with the Configuration Manager to ensure that all configuration items required to deliver a particular service are identified, controlled, audited, and reported in the Configuration Management System (CMS). Assist in the implementation of ITIL processes.
- Provide operational functions such as:
- OS Patching and Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs)
- Identity Access Management
- HBSS
- System/Network Administration
- Security Compliance:
- Back-Up and Storage
- Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations (COOP) testing
- Others as directed
- Maintain quality service by enforcing organization standards, security posture, and compliance.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- BS in computer science or technical degree plus 10 years relevant experience or equivalent (additional work experience may be substituted for degree)
- Security+ or DoD 8570 IAT Level II approved certification is required.
- Knowledge of computer and network security and system administration.
- Significant experience with Systems/Network Integration, Administration and Deployment of new Hardware, Software, and Services, Back-up Recovery Change Configuration Management support.
- Ability to Lead, Collaborate, and Support the Core Services Team and UCSA Enterprise as a Network Engineering Subject Matter Expert.
- Proficient skills in and heavy use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Experience in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment is preferred
- Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS.
- Must be able to work on-site at Ft. Meade.
- Active Top Secret/SCI U.S. security clearance required.
