As a Network Engineer at MetroSys, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions using Cisco routers, Fortinet firewalls, and Aruba wireless systems. You will work closely with our clients to ensure their network infrastructure is secure, efficient, and reliable.
Key Responsibilities:

Network Design and Implementation:
- Design and implement network solutions using Cisco routers, Fortinet firewalls, and Aruba wireless systems.
- Configure and deploy network equipment to meet client specifications and industry best practices.
- Ensure network scalability, security, and performance.

Network Management and Maintenance:
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to network devices.
- Conduct network performance analysis and troubleshooting to resolve issues promptly.

Security and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain network security measures using Fortinet firewalls.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and client security policies.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Generate regular reports on network performance, issues, and resolutions.

Client Support and Training:
- Provide technical support to clients and assist with network-related issues.
- Conduct training sessions for clients' IT staff on network management and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco routers, Fortinet firewalls, and Aruba wireless systems.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, routing, and switching.
- Experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with network security principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, NSE, ACMP) are highly desirable.
