About the Job

We are seeking an Associate Network Engineer to join our network team and aid in ticket resolution.  This individual will carry out triage, action and closeouts in our ticketing system as well as performing system upgrades, maintenance and patching with the opportunity to work directly with the development teams of our clients.

What You’ll Do

• Provide 1st/2nd line technical support and incident management, monitoring for circuits and hardware
• Report and track carrier issues, hardware RMA’s, etc
• Manage operational network maintenance activities and implement changes
• Provide monitoring & fault management and remediation of alerts. Tuning & optimization of monitoring systems
• Assist with root cause analysis of incidents
• Assist with periodic network reviews and analysis
• Help with the establishment of operational procedures & support documentation
• Review, track and update network operations policies, standards, and documentation
• Assist with the development of the network management platform adoption, configuration, and tuning
• Complete Daily network checks and operational handover duties
• Self-management (proactive) in JIRA service desk for day-to-day tickets/requests
• On-call operations on a 7-day cycle once every five weeks
• Shift will be four weekdays (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) 10 AM - 6 PM EST

What You Bring to the Table

• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure operations/support role
• Knowledge of network routing and switching technologies
• Knowledge of routing protocols
• Experience with various Cisco equipment (routers, switches)
• Ability to code in python (required) and terraform or ansible (optional)
• Formal technical certification such as CCNA (required) or CCNP (optional)
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and F5 load balancers

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $110,000 USD to $165,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
