Position Introduction/Key Duties

Cimarron is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to provide support for the avionics systems and the flight software testing for the StarLab program. The StarLab will be a low Earth orbit (LEO) space station that will serve as a business park for commercial space and space tourism activities! This work will be performed in Houston, Texas.

Key Duties:

• Support planning and implantation of the test facility network infrastructure.
• Support certification of the system integration lab (SIL) and Software Verification Lab (SVL) for the testing of avionics and software.
• Support flight software (FSW) integration in the SIL and SVL.
• Support avionics & flight software test planning and execution.
• Support integration of the avionics and software test systems with external entities using secure networks.
• Plan and perform SIL and emulator network configuration management.
• Coordinate with external partners and customers regarding SIL network design, certification, and operation.
• Support program reviews.

Required/Desired Skills, Experience, and Education

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
• 15 or more years of related experience.
• Experience in design, implementation, and management of complex integrated networks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Experience with space system testing.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Checkpoint Networks.
• Familiarity with NASA network infrastructure.
