Network Engineer

TITLE : Network Engineer

DUTIES : Responsible of the proper implementation, coordination and execution of the Message Map process for the CAN FD and SOME/IP protocols and work within cross functional teams and many stakeholders, including meetings with suppliers. Collaborate in the deliverables used for the vehicle integration such as: DBC and SysARXML files. Serve an ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) engineer for different tools in the team such as: codeBeamer and MagicDraw. Coordinate and provide support in the Message Map process to the different stakeholders and cross functional teams. Ensure that the process is smooth and resolve any kind of questions, concerns and issues related to the process. Provide 101 support to engineers and teams who require our service to create Message Maps for either CAN FD and SOME/IP protocols. Ensure that the main deliverables concerning Message Map such DBC and SysARXML files work well and can be properly executed, for any issues reported by the internal and external supplier. Collaborate to log and keep track of the issue with all involved teams until the issue is resolved. Report Message implementation on a weekly basis. Upload and have always updated the latest version of the Network documents: NOS (Network Operational Specification), AES (ARCHITECTURE ETHERNET SPECIFICATIONS), Hardware CAN Specification, as well as Diagnostics and Architecture documentation. Import the Logical and Software architecture shared by external stakeholder (BMW) per the current Stellantis contract for the Advanced Development team, used as reference for the Systems Engineering team to build their Vehicle Functions and functional diagrams.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Applied Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer, or Systems Engineering, or Computer Science or related, and 3 years of experience in job offered or related position working with ALM tools. Experience must include: authorizing System/Component level requirements; working with automotive Ethernet, SOME/IP, CAN, CAN FD communication protocols; performing detailed analysis to identify integration issues; working with CodeBeamer, PREEVision; and working with Agile Methodologies and IBM Doors.
