We are inviting experienced solution-oriented network engineers to join our dynamic team at Eagle Eye Networks. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the integrity and high availability of our global cloud network infrastructure. You will be working primarily with Juniper-based environments and overlay networks such as VXLAN, and participating in various projects to improve our network security and scalability.

Your role will involve troubleshooting network-related incidents up to the microservice network namespaces, leading and defining projects including cost analysis & risk management, and working towards Infrastructure As Code. If you are proficient in Linux system administration, scripting, and have a strong understanding or high interest in learning Kubernetes, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the global network infrastructure to scale with company growth and requirements
• Increase network observability, representing key metrics in our Prometheus/Grafana stack
• Architect new solutions to contribute to our global KPIs
• Collaborate with our internal SRE team to troubleshoot microservices down to network namespaces
• Mentor junior network engineers and initialize knowledge transfers within the organization
• Work towards Infrastructure As Code and Network automation like ZTP, using Ansible and Nautobot
• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments to optimize network performance and visibility
• Participate in an on-call rotation

Experience Must Have:

• Advanced Network knowledge troubleshooting large data center network environments independently using BGP and OSPF
• Hands on Linux administration experience using standard tools like grep, awk and sed
• Demonstrated automation proficiency leveraging one or more scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Golang
• Strong interest in Kubernetes and other cloud technologies, driven by a desire for continuous learning

Nice to Have:

• Proficient JunOS CLI knowledge or the ability to adapt quickly coming from other vendors
• Sufficient knowledge of version control software like GitHub to participate in IaC environments
• Architecting or troubleshooting EVPN/VXLAN environments
• In-depth experience with Juniper QFX and MX platforms
• Hands on monitoring experience with promql and Grafana
