Network Engineer

Meriplex is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our strong-growing organization. Network Engineers install new systems to improve internal and client communication structures while maintaining the upkeep of existing networks. • Establishing and maintaining IT and digital communication infrastructure, including wireless or LAN networks
• Making sure that the networks are protected from malware and viruses, identifying areas that might be under threat and areas where security can be improved, keeping up to date on ever-changing cyber-threats
• Installing and maintaining firewalls, establishing, and maintaining company-wide access policies to the internet
• Providing technical support and assistance to clients as well as Meriplex employees.
• Performing analysis and collecting data to establish the potential for improvements within the communication networks
• Working with third-party providers to keep the networks running efficiently

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Work Schedule/Travel - Standard Meriplex business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with flexibility to meet deadlines.
