Xerox's XIT Staffing Division is actively seeking Network Engineers for upcoming opportunities within our dynamic team. We collaborate closely with our clients to identify, streamline, and fulfill their staffing requirements. Candidates best suited for this role will possess comprehensive knowledge of networking, particularly in IP design and strategic planning. Network Engineers will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal network performance, crafting diverse configurations, establishing connections, and resolving network issues. Please note, this role may necessitate up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, deploy, and sustain network infrastructure• Assess network bandwidth demands and suggest actions to satisfy those needs• Execute network modeling and analysis to build a dependable, high-performance integrated network• Oversee system installation, deployment, and integration• Identify and implement suitable data communication components to align with the company's 3/5/10-year strategic plans• Configure routers, switches, and other network hardware• Perform cabling, mounting, and installation of various network devices• Administer firewall and oversee security measures for intrusion prevention, detection, and response• Establish, document, and uphold network standards• Innovate, propose, and apply new solutions to enhance network operation resilience• Supervise network performance, resolve issues, and manage service interruptions• Organize maintenance updates and upgrades within designated change control windows• Fortify network systems with policies governing access control, including remote and internal wired/wireless connections• Capability to lift 50 pounds from ground level to overhead positions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Network Administration, Information Technology, or Computer Science is preferred, although relevant experience may be considered in lieu of this requirement.• Proficiency in routing protocols such as BGP, RIP v2, EIGRP, and OSPF is required.

Preferred Certifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Associate/Network Professional/Design Professional (CCNA/N/P/D)• Aruba Certified Switching Professional/Aruba Certified Mobility Professional/Aruba Certified Solutions Associate (ASCP/ACMP/ACSA)• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer 7 (PCNSE7) or equivalent certification is desirable.
