Parsons is sourcing candidates for a project within the Department of Defense to provide a wide range of skills and expertise to perform technology development, testing, integration of hardware and software applications, and associated documentation and training.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Parsons is seeking Network Engineer to perform the following:
- System engineering, utilizing expert skills in protocols and protocol analysis as they relate to wired and wireless technology.
- Routing protocols BGP and SNMTP.
- System integration, system testing, and documentation.
CAPABILITIES:
- Develop algorithms for models using networking and/or telecommunications technologies and systems.
- Conduct data captures to obtain network performance information.
- Design modules representing traditional circuit switched networks.
- Gather needed data to specify system/component performance and interface requirements.
- Provide input to the design of the organizations network and mission architecture.
- Provide the Tier 3 support and serves on the Network Administration team.
- Provide technical support to the Network Administrators and System Administrators, monitor, and maintain the current infrastructure, improve system performance, and automate system administration.
- Configure and maintain organization's network diagrams and accreditations.
- Oversee the support to all network equipment.
- Support the integration of the analytic platform into the CND CDC.
- Integrate hardware and software to satisfy ISO 9000 requirements and other DoD regulations.
- Design and implement supporting network infrastructure within the Computer Network Defense (CND) Community Data Center (CDC) located at Warner Robins AFB in Georgia to enable the operations of a CND analytic platform.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ten (10) years of general experience in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline, to include:
- At least five (5) years of experience in software intensive projects and programs for government or industry customers.
- At least three (3) years of the experience must have been as a software engineer supporting software architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration (with both new and existing systems).
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline may be substituted for four (4) years of general experience.
