Job Title - Security Review Engineer

Location: Mountain View, California

Hire Type: Fulltime/ Permanent Hire

The Area:

Security Review Engineer

The Responsibilities:

• Lead software and cloud infrastructure security assessments.
• Review design documents and completed implementations to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Provide feedback and guidance to partner development teams regarding secure development best practices.
• Ensure being readied for launch adheres to security and auditing policies.
• Act as a mentor and advocate for security best practices across our cross-functional teams.

Mandatory Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical

experience.

• 5 years of experience in security assessment, review, consulting or similar for applications and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with one or more coding languages (e.g., Java, C, Python, Go, etc.).
• Understanding of threat modelling and risk-based security assessments.
• Ability to secure a broad range of tech stacks, including cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with security reviews, testing, vulnerability analysis, finding/fixing security issues etc.

Additional (Optional) Requirements:

• Experience with cloud-native software and orchestration stacks.
• Experience with both offensive (finding bugs, attacking systems, etc.) and defensive

(Engineering solutions, addressing root causes, etc.) Security methods, and comfort finding the balance between those roles.
