Network Engineer

Responsible for the management and design of Cellular and Network technologies like Mobile Routers, switches, Data Center Routers and Firewalls.

Possess and demonstrates Good oral and written communication and organizational skills.

High level of self-motivation and initiative.

Knowledge and 3 years’ experience in PC usage including Wireshark, Cisco network devices (Switches, Routers, WLC, WLAN devices, firewalls) and Fortinet Firewalls.

Knowledge or prior experience in design, installation, and operations management of network devices.

Communication with customer as necessary to support and clarify changes in scope of work and support.

Essential skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with electronic equipment or components
• Wireshark (Packet Captures)
• Cisco network devices (Switches, Routers, WLC, WLAN devices, firewalls)
• Fortinet Firewalls.
• Programming skills – Python

Non-essential knowledge:

• Working knowledge of Cloud (AWS, Azure, UCI, Google) networking
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Digi, Cradlepoint or Sierra Wireless mobile routers

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $110,000.

The compensation range posted for this position represents the anticipated minimum and maximum compensation for this position based upon a good faith and reasonable estimate. The exact compensation offered will depend on several factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, training, education and/or physical location; internal equity; and, budget.
