Network Engineer
Job Description
Currently seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team in Annapolis, MD. This is a full-time, exempt position.
As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and providing high-level technical support for our Aruba and Cisco networks and infrastructure. You will also be responsible for creating and updating network documentation, as well as working on projects to upgrade our communication equipment and procedures. You will coordinate implementations with customer and vendor personnel and act as a knowledge resource for our customers.
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Strong radio frequency (RF) knowledge and proficiency in Aruba Wireless and ClearPass, as well as Networking
- 3+ years of experience troubleshooting and supporting wireless infrastructure (Aruba) and devices (Access points, wireless controllers, etc.)
- Experience with Network Access Control (NAC) solutions for wired and wireless networks
- The ability to participate in internal and client-facing meetings, prepare reports, and presentations
- The ability to act as a point of contact for Tier 2 and Tier 3 escalation
- Knowledge of switches with hands on experience in network configuration
- Must be willing to be available for off-hours work for repairs, updates, patches, and maintenance.
In addition to the above, the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. We are looking for candidates with certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, ACMP, CCNP Wireless, ACCA, or ACCP.
