Job Description

Purpose

Perform, coordinate and improve most complex activities (3rd level environment) needed to provide IT services and the supporting infrastructure in order to fulfill relevant KPI’s. Plan, implement and maintain a stable technical infrastructure to support organization’s business processes. Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards.

Network Administrator: We are looking for someone with strong skills in Cisco networking, ideally certified at the CCNP level or higher. Preferably German-speaking, although for the right candidate, we would also accept English

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of commissioning and operation for complex network systems.
• Identifying and analyzing problems and initiating solutions.
• Designing and executing commissioning and operational processes.
• Problem identification and documentation using a trouble-ticket system, even in complex system landscapes.
• Initiating escalation procedures in critical problem cases.
• Subject matter expert contact.
• Representing the Network Administration department in cross-functional solution teams.
• Evaluating and assessing new technologies.
• Administering the deployed network and security systems.
• Integrating new customers into existing operational processes.
• Handling and executing complex assignments.
• Installing and maintaining tools.
• Designing and implementing supporting tools.
• Contributing to the development and planning of service concepts.
• Coordinating order processing.

Qualifications

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• Master’s or diploma degree with relevant professional experience or comparable knowledge and skills.
• At least five years of professional experience, including at least three years in IT administration.
• Very good customer-oriented, entrepreneurial thinking and actions, including at the management level.
• Professional, trustworthy, and empathetic demeanor at the management level.
• Highly systematic and structured working style.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• High flexibility, resilience, and willingness to perform.
• Very good and broad technical understanding.
• Expert knowledge in the target task area and strong knowledge of related technologies.
• Proficient with the MS Office product suite.
• Strong cooperation, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills.
• Very good English skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco firewall systems, such as ASA and Firepower.
• Very good knowledge of various network topologies (Ethernet, WLAN, etc.).
• Very good knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS).
• Very good knowledge of Cisco IOS/ACI, with CCNA and CCNP certification.
• Good knowledge of services such as Multicast, DHCP, DNS, NAT, Tacas, and Radius.
• Very good knowledge of network infrastructures.
• Extensive experience working in project teams.
• Extensive experience working in cross-functional working groups and task forces

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1300€ /brutto.
