Network Management Associate
The Network Management Associate role is responsible for supporting facility and physician onboarding, provider data quality, provider relationship and performance management of the SurgeryPlus network.
This includes, to successfully:
- Develop executive and administrative provider relationships
- Collect and/or maintain accurate provider data and contract terms in EDHC core systems
- Onboard newly contracted facilities and surgeons through various contract arrangements to participate in the SurgeryPlus program
This position requires strong critical thinking skills and a problem-solving mindset, with the ability to transform data into actionable insights. A successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with internal operations functions to ensure network growth and success.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manages and develops relationships at all levels, including executive, with providers and internal stakeholders
- Able to participate in corporate client or prospect sales discussions to describe a successful onboarding experience for to participate in the SurgeryPlus program and present the strengths of the EDH network, capabilities and value proposition
- Ability to present to executive and administrative levels, both verbally and in written form, internally and externally
- Able to design and interpret reports (in conjunction with analytics, IT or operations) to evaluate SurgeryPlus network performance and opportunities to expand initiatives
- Clear understanding of all business terms in provider contracts, and how claims are priced, both internally and across the industry, to enable successful resolution of settlements
- Ability to understand and engage around clinical requirements and quality standards (understanding and explaining the "why" and "how" in our standards)
- Leads onboarding activities for assigned newly contracted facilities and physicians
- Offers strategic input on quality standards for onboarding documentation and timelines, workflows and requirements
- Uses organization management software to maintain accurate provider data for sharing with internal and external stakeholders
- Organize and lead regular performance reviews with providers, including agenda setting, documentation of deliverables and meeting minutes, review of utilization, operational challenges and issue resolution
- Proactively develops solutions and works with manager and other departments to fix root cause drivers of service and/or delivery problems
- Develops project plans to execute on strategic goals and tactics
- Able to travel as needed, up to 10% subject to business needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of at least 2-3 years of job-related experience in a healthcare strategic account role, provider relations, consulting, network innovation / strategy or contracting role
- Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of healthcare organization personnel, including C-suite
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical, presentation and leadership skills
- Motivated team player with a positive attitude and ability to work in fast-paced, continually changing, environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
