This role is a hands-on entry point into high-performance infrastructure operations, supporting 24/7 monitoring of large-scale data center environments.
You will serve as the first line of defense for system alerts across compute, network, and hardware layers in mission-critical AI infrastructure.
The position focuses on alert triage, incident response, and structured escalation using established runbooks and workflows.
You will gain exposure to advanced GPU-based computing systems, cloud infrastructure, and modern observability tools.
Working in a fast-paced shift environment, you will help ensure system reliability, uptime, and operational continuity.
The role is ideal for individuals eager to start a career in data center operations, networking, or site reliability engineering.
It offers strong learning opportunities within a cutting-edge AI and high-performance computing ecosystem.

Accountabilities:

  • Monitor infrastructure systems using dashboards and alerting tools to detect, validate, and respond to incidents.
  • Triage alerts across compute, networking, and hardware systems, filtering false positives based on defined procedures.
  • Follow structured runbooks to perform initial diagnostics and validation steps during incidents.
  • Escalate issues to appropriate engineering teams (hardware, network, SRE) according to established escalation paths.
  • Create, update, and manage incident tickets with accurate logs, diagnostics, and status updates.
  • Coordinate communication during active incidents, ensuring stakeholders are informed in a timely manner.
  • Identify recurring issues or patterns and report them to improve system reliability and monitoring.
  • Maintain situational awareness of system health and ongoing incidents during assigned shifts.
  • Requirements:

    • Basic familiarity with computers, Linux systems, or IT environments (academic, personal, or entry-level experience).
    • Ability to follow structured procedures, runbooks, and operational workflows with strong attention to detail.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and escalation.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 shift-based operational environment.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple alerts and tasks.
    • Willingness to learn infrastructure, networking, and data center operations.
    • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Datadog, or similar platforms is a plus.
    • Basic understanding of networking or server hardware concepts is beneficial.
    • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability when handling incidents.
    • Benefits:

      • Annual salary range: $75,000 – $85,000 USD, based on experience and location.
      • Eligibility for discretionary bonus and equity-based compensation (where applicable).
      • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage (U.S.-based employees).
      • Retirement and financial wellness support, including 401(k) plans.
      • Paid time off, holidays, and paid parental leave.
      • Professional development and learning support to build technical career pathways.
      • Wellness programs and work-from-home stipends where applicable.
      • Opportunity to work in cutting-edge AI and high-performance computing environments.
      • Clear career progression paths into roles such as Data Center Technician, Network Operations Engineer, or SRE.
