How youâll change it upÂ
The role of the Network Planner is to produce robust and cost-effective civils and fibre-optic infrastructure designs in accordance with defined methodologies, architecture and project timelines. These must be suitable for both the customerâs and the businessâ requirements.
Day to day, this is what you can expect to be doing:Â
- To design suitable civils and fibre optic infrastructure which are cost-effective, fit-for-purpose and future-proof
- To undertake Site Surveys in accordance with CityFibreâs safety guidelines
- To forecast capex and opex requirements of designed infrastructure projects
- To produce detailed industry-standard documentation of that design
What youâll bring to the roleÂ
You will have detailed working understanding of all aspects of civil route and fibre planning. Youâll bring the following with you:Â
- Ability to produce detailed industry standard level of survey, installation and as-built documentation.
- Full understanding of Local and National Authority regulations in respect to civil engineering works.
- Working knowledge of industry recognised GIS software
