Sentara Healthcare is hiring a Network Relations Manager! This role is 100% Remote.
Must have permanent residence is one of the following states: FL, GA, IN, MD, NV, SC, NC, SD, TN, TX, WA, VA, WV, WI
Sentara Healthcare is a Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina based not-for-profit integrated healthcare provider. Offering hundreds of sites of care including 12 hospitals and multiple services that supports an 858,000 member health plan.
Optima Health-Northern Virginia area hiring Network Relations Manager.
Responsible for the development and design of the provider network through contract negotiations and relationship development. Assists in the preparation of financial projections and strategic planning. Responsible for managing the financial and operational performance of the provider network and compliance with contractual terms.
Under direction of the Director of the Medicare Stars Network Relations Manager is responsible for managing one or more mid-size to complex projects to support the Medicare Stars Member and Provider strategic initiatives or the Stars Clinical and Pharmacy strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with the provider network.
- Help negotiates provider contracts.
- Assists in the preparation of financial projections and strategic planning.
- Responsible for managing the financial and operational performance of the provider network and compliance with contractual terms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 5 years of Healthcare Management experience.
- 5 years of Managed Care Experience.
- Commercial facility contract negotiations experience. Such as fixed pricing payment methodologies, chargemaster cap management and ability to achieve market competitive rates (including decreases).
