Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing subject matter expertise in providing oversight of network access rules, ensuring that they are active and required and there are no unauthorized changes. This position will also provide support and configuration for network security tools, keeping them up to date with Bank environment.

Major Responsibilities:

• Work with business units and technology teams to ensure that network access profiles are kept active and relevant
• Provide oversight of technology teams making changes to network access profiles to ensure that no unauthorized changes are implemented
• Configure and maintain tools used by the Network Security team
• Provide statistical reporting to management on Network Security metrics
• Work closely with Security Operations Center and Network Operations Center for security and operational events that are network related

Qualifications

• B.S., Computer Science, Engineering or relevant industry recognized security certifications.
• 1-3 years' experience with network operations or network security
• 1-3 years' experience with monitoring tools
• Experience in the banking or finance industries preferred
• Understanding of networking theories
• Ability to script using Python or other scripting language
• Experience maintaining and configuring monitoring tools, including setting up alerts and writing SOPs
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in creating trending, metrics and management reports
• Excellent communication skills and able to adapt to the audience
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to work independently on tasks, but also work well within a team environment

The typical base pay range for this role is between $75K - $100K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
