Job Description
Essential Functions and Responsibilities• Support and Maintain the network infrastructure as it pertains to security.• Evaluate, pitch, and manage projects and technology to improve network security infrastructure.• Assist with the planning, implementation and support of an enterprise-wide integration of the management of security tools and systems.• Determine and regularly report appropriate metric & dashboard information.• Analyze issues and performance and make recommendations for improvement of security controls.• Schedule and perform appropriate maintenance.• Resolve IDS alerts and escalated Help Desk tickets.• Participate in the night-time / weekend on-call rotation and as needed (24x7) during business emergencies.• Protects assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference.• Reports security events or potential events or other security risks to the organization.• Other tasks duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Monitor and support everyday operations of the technology infrastructure• Maintain documentation to support the management of assigned services and infrastructure• Serve as a member and complete tasks on corporate infrastructure project teams as required• Prepares progress reports and updates management on status of problems• Supports internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and participation in associated meetings

Key Skills• Persuasive communication skills necessary to collect essential information, answer questions, and direct callers to appropriate personnel in a professional and courteous manner.• Developed interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co- workers, other business areas and government agencies as required.• Planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around complex, multiple assignments.• Thorough knowledge of computerized applications, for example, word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.• Strong working experience with network monitoring tools: (i.e. Tenable Security Center, Solarwinds, Stellar and Log Rhythm).• Good technical/analytical/communication skills• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work and communicated effectively with all levels of a professional organization• Flexibility - willingness and ability to work unpredictable and sometimes late hours and perform a diverse array of tasks• Ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks and work with limited supervision a must• Knowledge of:• key operating systems and OS - OSI layers functionality,• Information Security Frameworks, PCI, NIST & ITGCs• Basics of Auditing and validating controls.

Minimum Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field• 5+ years experience designing, implementing and maintaining networks leveraging routing technologies• 3+ years experience in audit and security• Advanced knowledge of routing and port functionality, checkpoint Firewalls, switches, and VPN Concentrators• CCNP Certification or higher• Extensive knowledge of VLANs, EIGRP, IDS, IPSEC and SSL VPNs

Additional Desired Qualifications• CISSP, CISA or the ability to achieve within one year• Project Management experience or certification• Penetration testing skills a +• Disaster recovery technology / architecture / implementation / testing
