Network Security Specialist

We are currently seeking a Network Security Senior Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

In these roles, you will be responsible for:

• Design, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and documentation of enterprise-level, mission-critical, network infrastructure components.
• Provides and maintains a reliable technical infrastructure to effectively serve the customer community.
• Work on mutiple projects and work streams concurrently to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Respond to network incidents, troubleshoot to assess and provide remediation plans.
• Support queue management, preforming network system analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with third party service vendors to ensure Network stays operational.
• Participates in client/ external interactions on technical matters.
• Secure network system by established organizational standard and enforcing policies.
• Evaluate new network technologies and participate in roadmap / architecture planning activities
• Should have good logical skills with experience in maintaining and troubleshooting large scale networks
• Being a team player and adhering to project schedule.

Required Skills for this role include:

• 5-8 years of experience in WAN and LAN using Cisco Products (Routing, switching and wireless)
• At least 5 + year hands on knowledge with various networking technologies like HSRP, VRRP, Port-channels, VSS, VSL, Spanning tree, VTP, IPSLA , VRFs, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, SD-WAN,MPLS ,IPSEC & DMVPN
• Must have managed large scale network and able to support and maintain networks with - Cisco routers (ASR) and Catalyst, Nexus switches, Meraki wireless and switching.
• 2-4 years in security infrastructure - Cisco firepower firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama.
• Experience in TACACS and Cisco ISE
• Experience in Azure , AWS and other cloud infrastructure.
• Skills and knowledge and adherence to ITIL & Change Management processes.
• Excellent customer service -oriented attitude and desire to support end users with issues of varying degrees of complexities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Willing to work in 24X7 environment - The candidate will also be required to work independently and remotely during a 9-hour shift, should be willing to work in rotating shifts if needed - that may include nights and on call support.
• Required Certifications Cisco Certified Network Professional.
