Network Security Specialist / zScaler

Introduction
In this role you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Provide deployment advisory services including best practice design recommendations and configurations for Zscaler solutions.
• Assist with testing or troubleshooting configuration for ZIA and ZDX and Escalate to support as required.
• Reproduce customer issues to verify problems and document steps to replicate for Support and Operations teams.
• Responsible for cybersecurity tasks across Zscaler products management services infrastructure (networks/applications) while providing protection for IBM customers.
• Analysis of complex security issues and the development and engineering activities to help mitigate risk and collaborate with different teams as GRC Endpoint VMS SOC CSIM.
• Understanding of Rule revalidation and Hardening strategies for platforms.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• On-site assistance required: Monterrey
• Requires 3 years experience in Cybersecurity or Information Security.
• Deep understanding of networking or security in Enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of how to navigate technical and architectural discussions.
• Familiarity with authentication systems such as LDAP and MS Active Directory.
• Familiarity with IPSEC GRE HTTP/HTTPS DNS protocols.
• Familiarity with Proxy and SSL.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Hands-on knowledge with network troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark tcpdump Traceroute.
• Experience on NGFW technologies like Palo Alto Forcepoint Fortinet Cisco.
• Experience on IPS technologies like Trellix Tipping point.
• Certifications of previous technologies mentioned ZIA ZPA PCNSA PCNSE NSE4.
