Network Services II

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Network Services supporting the Air Force Cyber Defense program located at Lackland AFB-San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyze and recommending network requirements.
• Recommending and maintaining network architecture and infrastructure.
• Analyzing network workload.
• Monitoring network capacity and performance.
• Diagnosing and resolving network problems.
• Recommending network backup and recovery procedures.
• Installing, testing, maintaining, and upgrading network operating systems software; and/or ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of network services.
• Support work that involves the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, integration of networks used to transmit information in voice, data, and/or video formats.
• Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain routers, IP, LANs and VLANs.
• Other duties as assigned;

Qualifications/Technical Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Active Secret Clearance Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Tactical level experience with cloud architecture and data ingest.
• Experience setting up routers, IP, LANs and VLANs
• Cisco routers and switches experience
• Experience working with Dell storage
• VMware experience
