Network Services Manager Remote

Full time, Atlanta, GA

BCD Travel is looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, detail-oriented Network Services Manager to lead a team of 8-12 Network Engineers on a global basis. This role is responsible for the management, operation, automation and improvement organization's Enterprise Network, including LAN, WAN, WiFi, Datacenter Cloud infrastructure.

As aNetwork Services Manager, you will

• Design and implement process improvements to increase accuracy, optimize demand and resource planning, and improve ticket handling Prepare project plans, budgets, and business cases, including resource estimates
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of accurate technical plans, drawings documentation in a central repository, including high and low-level designs to support projects and day-2 operations on a global basis
• Work closely with the NOC to optimize network operations, ensuring Engineering resource availability for projects, process improvement, Capacity Planning, Disaster Recovery, Availability, and Lifecycle Management
• Work closely with the Service Management team to maintain accurate device and location inventory in the CMDB, and to effectively manage major incidents
• Maintain expert-level knowledge through continuous education, be a consultant to other IT Colleagues, and a mentor and coach to IT Network Engineers

About you

• 8-10 years of technical experience in a team leadership role in a network engineering role preferably in a 24 x 7 IT environment
• Expert Knowledge of Physical and Virtual Switching / Routing environments, common network protocols, and dynamic routing
• Experience with design, documentation, and implementation of complex network solutions
• Strong Data Center Cloud Environment Background, preferred AWS, Azure
• Ability to maintain, develop and interpret written IT policies and procedures
• Advanced communication skills in English, oral, written, and presentation
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
• Occasionally work outside business hours
