We are currently seeking a Sr. Network Advisor (Cisco)to join our team in the Baltimore, Maryland area. The candidate for this role must be located within a commutable distance to Baltimore, Maryland. This role will also be required to travel in the local area (Maryland / Washington, DC), as needed, to support 10 hospitals and 250 clinic locations. Must be available around-the-clock to support mission-critical applications. Will be required to participate in after-hours remote support rosters, including working on weekend as and when required.

This position requires employee to be fully Covid vaccinated to work onsite at hospital locations, to the extent required by applicable law.

Job Responsibilities Include:
  • Design and deploy secure and highly available Network Solutions
  • Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions and their framework
  • Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning
  • Develop network technology roadmaps
  • Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for project
  • Serves as a Network subject matter expert to both internal and external customers
  • Engages with client's technical, application and customer service teams to support the 10 hospitals and 250 clinic locations
  • Fully engaged in design and implementation of hardware/software for all infrastructure towers (Network, Telephony, Video Conferencing, Clinical Applications, BIO Med Devices, etc.)
  • Perform daily on-call responsibly, work on network incidents to troubleshoot network-reported issues
  • Join network troubleshooting tech bridges and work with other technology towers to resolve Network issues
  • Work on the assigned request tasks to complete network requests
  • Submit change requests and perform network changes in change windows
  • Provide daily network INCs updates on operation call in the morning
  • Interact with the WAN / Internet Service Providers to troubleshoot connectivity issues and follow up on trouble tickets
  • Identify and contribute to projects to improve product support, customer satisfaction and team efficiency


Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Networking - Cisco Routing (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) & Cisco Switching (VLAN, VTP, STP, LACP, PAGP Switch Stack, VPC, VSS)
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with Designing and Implementing Network Solutions for Enterprise or Service Provider Datacenters
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience or good understanding of Firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Checkpoint)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience or good understanding of VOIP Technologies (e.g., CUCM, SIP, MGCP, PRI/ISDN etc.)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience or good understanding of Wireless Technologies (e.g., Cisco WLC, Cisco ISE, Cisco Prime)


Preferred Skills:
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations
  • Experience / basic understanding of Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience / basic knowledge of Linux
  • CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CCDE, or CCDP Certifications
  • Excellent communication skills as engineer will be facing customer on daily basis -
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, resiliency in the face of continual change, and ability to handle high demands
  • Must be a team player and should be open to learn new technologies and should be open to feedback
