Network Support Specialist

Network Support Specialist, Journeyman Installs, configures and supports an air vehicle’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) and Internet systems, or a segment of a network system. Monitors network to ensure network availability to all system users. Performs necessary maintenance to support network availability. Responsible for monitoring air vehicle system performance to ensure operation functions correctly and without interruption.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of six (6) years’ experience in the field of Computer Sciences which includes systems installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair. Familiarity with NAVAIR, NAWCAD and relevant aviation programs desired.
• Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree in computer science discipline.
• Top Secret Security Clearance Required. NOTE: US Citizenship is required to obtain/maintain a United States Top Secret Security Clearance.

Security Clearance:

• Position requires the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance and maintain a favorable Tier 5 background investigation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• S-92, VH-92A, VH-3D, and VH-60N experience preferred.
