Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Network Systems Engineer to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assists in design, specification, implementation, integration, documentation and support of physical and virtual networking equipment from the WAN connections to the NIC of the servers. Also includes routers, switches, PDUs, KVMs and UPSs.
• Help to define customer needs and requirements
• Assist in data center-type room buildout, including coordinating power, space and cooling requirements with facilities
• Responsible for day-to-day monitoring, security auditing, remediation, and reporting and troubleshooting of network equipment
• Works in parallel with SAs to configure and ensure Windows domain is configured and secured properly.
• Works in parallel with SAs to troubleshoot all issues that may arise.
• Communicate with program leadership on the following: system and project/mission impact reports, risks, outages and root cause analysis, planned and emergency maintenance (ASIs), resource constraints (infrastructure), new requirements.
• Conduct monthly credentialed vulnerability scans of network devices
• Assist in design and support of Virtualized environments
• In depth knowledge of customer policies, STE, and RMF

Salary Range:

$113,100.00 - $203,600.00
