Network Testing and Automation Manager

Role Description

As our Network Testing and Automation Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in the Network Planning & Engineering team by ensuring our end-to-end network is scalable and secure. In this role, you’ll ensure our network changes adhere to the highest standards of reliability and performance by thoroughly testing all solutions before they are moved into production. Additionally you will analyze current workflows and identify opportunities for automation to improve productivity, reduce errors, and enhance overall operational efficiency

In this role, you'll:

• Manage production and qualification tests for network changes (e.g., end-to-end network and functionality).
• Oversee network automation and regression activities.
• Ensure proper testing and verification of operational and engineering changes.
• Collaborate with operational and engineering teams on testing requirements.
• Build network automation frameworks from scratch and allocate lab resources appropriately.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the network lab team.

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 9 years of experience in network testing and qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in leading a network lab environment, including people management.
• Experience in the automation and regression testing of network infrastructure, protocols, and technologies.
• Experience with production and qualification testing methodologies using Python.

It's preferred if you have:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Certification in network or related domains.
• Experience with network virtualization and cloud technologies.
• Experience with optical transport, wireline, core and edge, peering technologies.
• Experience adapting network testing practices to driving innovation.
• Experience using written and verbal communication to collaborate with cross functional partners to drive results in a timely manner.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $254,000 - $280,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
