We are currently seeking a Networking Engineering Specialist to join our team in San Antonio, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

We are seeking a highly motivated Network Engineer to work on networking projects for a large Healthcare customer's network infrastructure environment. The candidate will work with a core network team responsible for the modernization of the network enterprise. The modernization will leverage new SD-WAN technology to improve efficiency, automation, and the ability to leverage various WAN connectivity options (e.g. MPLS, Broadband, 4G/5G).

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct network planning, design, and initial implementation of new network project initiatives to include Cisco Meraki deployments
• Participate with network engineering team to validate network design as per customer specifications including circuit protection, transport network selection, and interworking across networks;
• Provide engineering/deployment support during the implementation and turn up of new network nodes and related connections.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of network project experience
• BS/BA or equivalent experience or subject matter expertise in the service being provided
• Minimum 5 years experience and knowledge of Cisco Meraki architecture
• Minimum 5 years routing protocols and technologies including BGP, EIGRP, DMVPN, GRE
• Minimum 5 years experience in overseeing and troubleshooting Local Area Networking (LAN) issues and resolving Wide Area Networking (WAN) problems and implementing, integrating, and supporting of cost-effective, high-performance IP and LAN/WAN solutions.

• Highly self-motivated and directed, with attention to detail
• Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
