Neuroimmunology Physician
Job Description
Dartmouth Health is a nationally recognized leader in neurological care and research. Our Department of Neurology is committed to excellence in patient care, clinical research, and education. We are seeking a neuroimmunology physician to join our multi-disciplinary team in providing expert care to patients with neuroimmunologic disorders. The clinician will care for patients with a mix of MS and related neuroimmunologic conditions.
As a member of the Department of Neurology, you’ll be part of our collaborative team offering a wide range of subspecialty services, including headache, movement disorders, neuromuscular, stroke, neurocritical care, and more.
Preference will be given to candidates with a strong clinical and/or laboratory research portfolio. Such physicians will be candidates to assume the Murray B. Bornstein Professorship, an endowed chair in neuroimmunology.
Requirements:
Extensive clinical experience in the field of neuroimmunology
Board certification in neurology by the ABMS or AOA
Ability to obtain/maintain NH and VT medical licenses, as well as DEA licensure
Strong clinical skills with a commitment to patient-centered care
Preferred Attributes:
Track record of teaching or mentoring in an academic setting
Desire to contribute to continuous program development
Administrative experience helpful in assuming the directorship of the Multiple Sclerosis Division
