Neuromuscular Neurologist
Job Description
• Outpatient clinical practice; 100% neuromuscular medicine and electrodiagnosis.
• Board-certification/Board eligibility in neurology required.
• Fellowship training or board certifications in neuromuscular medicine and electrodiagnostic medicine required.
• Lead a multidisciplinary ALS team from physiatry, physical and speech therapy, dietetics, respiratory therapy, social work, and collaborate with our local ALS association.
• Support from specialty-trained nurse practitioners and subspecialty neurology colleagues
• Providence Medical Research Center provides a high level of support for clinical trials. In addition, research collaboration opportunities with Washington State University (WSU), University of Washington (UW), Eastern Washington University, University of Idaho, University of Montana, and Gonzaga University are available.
• Eligibility for clinical faculty appointment at WSU Elson S Floyd College of Medicine and UW School of Medicine. Resident and medical student teaching and mentorship opportunities as desired.

Our outpatient neuromuscular center is embedded within St. Luke's, the 91-bed flagship rehabilitation hospital for Providence, and affiliated with the Neurology and Neurosurgery Divisions within the Providence Neuroscience Institute
