About the job
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven New Business Account Executive to join our team focusing on the healthcare and life sciences vertical. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and a passion for leveraging data to improve patient and provider experiences.
Responsibilities
In this role you’ll:

Identify and target new business opportunities within the healthcare and life sciences sectors.

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers including healthcare providers pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that address the unique needs of healthcare clients.
-
Conduct in-depth market research to stay informed about industry trends competitive landscape and emerging opportunities.
-
Present and demonstrate the value of our customer data platform to potential clients highlighting its impact on improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

4+ years of healthcare & life sciences software sales experience.

Proven track record of success in B2B sales preferably within the healthcare or life sciences industry.

Strong understanding of healthcare industry dynamics including regulatory requirements and market trends.

Competency selling into mid-market and enterprise segments.
-
Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
-
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry event.
-
Familiarity with a diverse set of selling and forecasting methodologies.
Desired:
-
Deep experience working with telecom companies including ISV’s SMS aggregators carriers and/or global communications platforms.
-
Software SaaS CPaas or PaaS selling experience preferred.

This role will be remote based in the USA
Travel
We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role approximately 25% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.

*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado California New York Washington and Washington D.C. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.
The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

Based in Colorado: $104400 - $130500.
-
Based in Washington D.C. or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay Area): $110200 - $137750.
-
Based in New York Washington State or the San Francisco Bay area California: $116000 - $145000).

This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance 401(k) retirement account paid sick time paid personal time off paid parental leave.

This role is eligible to earn commissions.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible non-discriminatory factors such as skills experience and geographic location.
