 New Business Case Manager (IMO Channel)

Global Atlantic has an exciting opportunity for a New Business Case Manager position based in in either our Batesville, IN; Hartford, CT; or Des Moines, IA offices.

Position Overview

The New Business Case Manager (IMO Channel) provides operational support to key IMO partners with Global Atlantic. Based in Batesville, Des Moines, or Hartford, the candidate will foster a strong partnership with distribution partners while working closely with internal teams to provide proactive operational support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate accountability, collaboration, strong relationship skills and have a drive to excel.

 

Responsibilities

  • Partner with back office/case managers supporting key Independent Marketing Organizations (IMO).
  • Manage all operational aspects associated with issuance of new business.
  • Maintain internal databases and systems to thoroughly document work activity and ongoing communication on assigned cases.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with back office/case managers on all outstanding requirements within published timeframes.
  • Assist and implement decisions on cases to resolve escalated issues with internal and external customers.
  • Develop strong relationships and communication with key distribution relationships.
  • Identify and act on feedback and trends to enhance the overall client experience.
  • Must be flexible in shifting priorities by strategically managing workload (i.e., end of month demands, SLA at risk due to volumes)
  • Exhibit proficiency in all products, processes, and platforms not limited to but including FAST, Onbase, LifeCad, Order Entry Platforms

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, life insurance designation a plus.
  • Two (2+) or more years of progressive professional relationship management experience.
  • Five (5+) or more years of operational experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication skills, work ethic and high level of personal integrity and accountability.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and against tight deadlines.

Global Atlantic’s base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. The annual base salary range provided in this posting for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country.  Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives.  Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives.  The base salary range for this role is $ $31,878 to $ $60,720.
