Business Office Manager Role:
The Business Office ManagerĀ is responsible for coordinating overall office management and business operations at new facilities and provides interim support at assigned campuses as needed (e.g., vacancies or leaves). Oversees and is responsible for accounts payable and receivable; resident monies, including trust account, petty cash, and payroll; and supervision of receptionist and office assistant. TheĀ Business Office Manager serves as executive secretary to the Administrator and Director of Operations. Liaisons and coordinates with other departments. TheĀ Business Office Manager assists the administrator in implementing all business operations according to policies and procedures and maintaining required hospital standards. This position requires the ability and desire to work with a diverse group of individuals in a respectful and professional manner. Extensive California Travel Required (70% to 90% - Day and Overnight).
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Skill and proficiency in office management.
- Proficiency is acquired through completion of A.A. or B.A. degree in business, or equivalent education and experience is preferred.
- Minimum two years of experience in hospital or health-related clinic as secretary or manager is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experienced in mental health desirable.
- Computer knowledge and skilled with data entry; word processing programming required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Knowledge and ability to use the following facility office equipment
