New Mexico DMO is looking for integration and defect reduction engineers to support Foveros, EMIB, Die Prep, Sort and Wafer level Assembly yield. In either of these roles, you will partner with all areas of yield including integration, defect reduction, QNR, and Yield analysis. You will be responsible for sustaining and monitoring products post transfer/PRQ through HVM and supporting yield, defect, cost and efficiency improvements.

Job Description:

The New Mexico DMO Yield team is looking for engineers who love problem solving, data analysis and leading and participating in cross organizational teams. In this role you will plan and conduct experiments and data analysis to optimize and characterize new processes and understand sources of variation within the fab. In addition, you will receive new products from TD and ensures they are capable of high-volume manufacturing while also driving improvement to quality, reliability, cost, yield, productivity and manufacturability. The following skills are needed to be successful in this role:

Creative mindset resulting in the ability to propose novel mechanisms and solutions.

Understanding of inline detection to identify rogue tools, integrated defect issues, and predict end of line yield impacts.

Utilizing strong analytical skillset to search for meaningful correlations among suspect operations.

Executing roadmaps to drive defect, yield, efficiency cost improvements based on both known impact and program risk factors.

Reducing variability in monitors and tools.

Implementing process control monitoring strategies to detect out of control events which require intervention.

Creating strong responses to quality events to allow 24x7 disposition during preliminary, ramp, and high volume stages of product lifecycle.

This position requires working onsite in New Mexico.

Qualifications:

Must have a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Microelectronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated capability working in a high performing team culture which includes excellent teamwork and leadership skills, demonstrated problem solving and prioritization skills.

Experience with design of experiments (DOE) principles.

Experience in data analysis and statistical process control (JMP, SQL, PCS).

Fundamental understanding of semiconductor process flow

Understands concepts of process capability, true spec, and variance

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
