NM DMO (New Mexico Disaggregation Manufacturing Organization) New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineers are responsible for coordinating the logistics and introducing new products into New Mexico Factories (F11x/F9).
The New Product Introduction Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Being the primary information interface between the fab and the program design team, product development team, factory teams, and the sort/die prep teams.
- Logistic coordinator of introducing a new product into the factory by suppling the required process documentation to factory customers.
- Tracking the collateral items, such as reticles or information, from supplier to NM Factories.
- Communicating wafer shipping to post fab customers.
- Creating and updating the product codes in the internal systems.
- Creating and kicking off NPI Checklists for each module to use.
- Staring the silicon and monitoring its progression through the process flow.
- Ensuring shipping channels to downstream customers are set up able to ship the material to post fab customers.
- Build effective relationships between factory teams, design teams, and post-fab teams.
The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:
- Understanding of a product's life cycle, fab processing, and post fab activities.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong scheduling and lot tracking skills.
Full time onsite required during training, estimated 6 months. After training: hybrid "work from home" to be defined by manager and employee but continued onsite will be required.
Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a science, technology, math, engineering or other STEM discipline.
- Fundamental understanding of semiconductor process flow.
- 3+ years of experience with manufacturing in a semiconductor or high-tech environment.
- 3+ years of experience with semiconductor quality control processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with factory NPIs or processes.
- Endeavour user, Microsoft Project prior usage, Synergy user.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
