Based in the New Orleans, LA location, the Studio Manager will report to the South Area Manager and will oversee the overall operation of the Studio. You will be responsible for driving performance, while providing an amazing experience to Studs’ clients. This role will manage the Assistant Studio Manager, Studio Supervisors, Sales Associates, and Piercers.
Salary Range:Â $80,000
Key Responsibilities:
REVENUEÂ
Financial Acumen
- Analyzes business reporting to identify opportunities in key business metrics and communicates them effectively
- Develops the team’s understanding of key business metrics and reporting
- Sets strategies and aligns the Studio team to continually improve key business metrics to achieve sales plan
Drives ResultsÂ
- Accountable for the Studio’s overall performanceÂ
- Creates a performance-oriented culture by setting clear expectations and targets for Studio team
- Actions against Studio’s reviews and customer satisfaction surveysÂ
Customer Focus
- Serves as a brand ambassador: welcomes and educates clients to the unique Studs’ piercing and shopping experience through our selling cycle
- Implements ands trains to service recovery best practicesÂ
- Identifies and escalates client feedback to improve the overall Studio experience
OPERATIONSÂ
Optimizes Work Processes
- Leverages Studs’ tools and resources consistently and effectivelyÂ
- Owns Studio scheduling within the labor allocation and audits for payroll accuracyÂ
- Delegates ownership of work to the management team’s divisions of responsibilities and follows-up routinelyÂ
Decision QualityÂ
- Cascades communication from HQ to the studio team to ensure comprehension and retention
- Balances analysis, experience, and integrity when making decisions for the overall business
- Empowers the Studio team to act like an owner and make smart business decisions
Ensures Accountability
- Holds themselves and the team accountable to meet directive execution dates
- Be well-versed in the piercing operating procedures to ensure client experience, work safety, and record keeping standards are met Ensures inventory control through POS accuracy and loss prevention measuresÂ

- Creates a sense of belonging and strong team morale through trust and collaboration
- Owns recruiting and ensures successful onboarding and continued development of a diverse Studio team
- Utilizes development plans and touch bases to steward the team in their Studs’ careers

Requirements:
- Experience: 2 years of comparable Retail Management experience; experience with jewelry, piercing, or hospitality is a plusÂ
- Availability: 40 hours per week, you must be available for five shifts (Monday, Thursday-Sunday)
- Comfortable standing for extended periods of time up to 8+ hours
- Able to lift, carry, and move at least 20 lbs
- Must be able to handle chemicals safelyÂ
- Driven, creative problem solver that consistently acts with integrity and speaks up
- Owner’s mindset, with the ability to approach feedback and problems with a positive attitude
