New Products MFG Test Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a MFG Test Engineer with experience working in the semiconductor industry. Preferred experience working as a GPS Engineer, TPS Engineer, or Customer Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops and executes test strategies
• Ensure alignment on test specs and project requirements with DEA's
• Develops test procedures, including assisting with the definition of test specifications with design / software engineering
• Writes test scripts in Applied Materials scripting framework (Mayan) and procedures for testing semiconductor chamber modules and gas panels
• Sets up test fixtures and simulators
• Determines root cause and corrective action during testing
• Develops new test fixture designs and preliminary manufacturing costs
• Trains junior Test Engineers and Technicians
• Works closely with software engineering to resolve or develop service routines and resolve software issues

Functional Knowledge

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
• Vacuum technology, gas delivery systems, control systems, servers and networking, Pneumatics

• Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering preferred
• 5+ years of experience working in the semiconductor industry is preferred

U.S. Salary Range:

$84,000.00 - $115,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
