New York PDC Unit Leader

The Warehouse Unit Leader will be responsible for overseeing and developing highly functioning work teams, comprised of team leaders and team members. The Warehouse Unit Leader will practice the Stellantis leadership principles in a warehousing facility while holding themselves and others accountable. The selected candidate will lead a team in daily activities, resolve problems, analyze root causes, and utilize Kaizen activities to drive continuous process and quality improvements while ensuring a safe working environment for employees.

Basic Qualifications:

• A minimum of 6 months supervisory experience
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Must meet immigration requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in technical field
• Supervisory experience in logistics, distribution, manufacturing or warehousing
• Previous experience working in a union environment
• Demonstrated ability to coach/mentor/develop team members
• Proven problem solving skills Strong knowledge of continuous improvement systems
