How to contribute to our vision:

  • Responsible for all Financial aspects of LATAM Region, which is inclusive of 12 companies throughout 11 countries in Latin America. Lead an organization of 850+ employees and 200’M+ EUR in annual revenue.

  • The Head of Finance for LATAM is a key role in the SGRE Finance Leadership Team and Onshore Finance Organisation reporting to Onshore Head of Finance.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Be a proactive financial business partner to the regional CEO who provides key financial information and drives the business, operational analytics and gives well-substantiated recommendations for sound decision making.

  • Lead and develop a team of finance professionals across all countries in the region from financial controllers to senior finance managers.

  • Support strategy development and help enable its execution.

  • Drive implementation of short- and long-term priorities and strategies for the Region to meet business plans.

  • Drive a culture of accountability and risk management from project acquisition to execution.

  • Drive stringent execution of order backlog with aim to improve gross profit.

  • Translate & govern the implementation of corporate finance policies and guidelines within the Region.

  • Implement regional standards in collaboration with Technical and Corporate Finance stakeholders with the target to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the region.

  • Ensure the effectiveness and diligent execution of internal control processes, anticipate and correct problems in advance.

  • Responsible for correct books and records of your region, ensuring they are at any time representing a true and fair picture of the regional financials.

  • Drive the annual budget process as well as monthly reporting (actuals and forecasts)

What You Need to Make a Difference:

  • Highly competent finance individual who has gained minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial business topics with an emphasis on financial project execution and sales.

  • Competence to promote and successfully implement companywide financial standards that lead to tangible benefits.

  • Strategic thinker who connects vision with status quo, enabling stakeholders and employees to be a proactive part of the journey.

  • Extensive experience in optimizing the regional financial set-up for large project businesses.

  • Experience in working in a matrix organization with efficiency and team player attitude.

  • Ability to drive a change project with high complexity and to overcome resistance in the organization.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading an organization by targets, stakeholder management and influencing.

  • Global leader who can identify diverse talent and form and lead high-performance teams.

  • Solution oriented mindset with a clear focus on implementation with a hands-on attitude.

  • Role will require travel.

  • Fluent in English and Spanish. Good command of Portuguese is beneficiary for the role.
