NFK - Investigate Work Process of New PLM System

We are now looking for Mechanical and Industrial Engineering students that are interested in doing their NFK at our Project Management Office. 

Husqvarna has a heritage of systems that are continuously updated or replaced. Right now, we are on one of our biggest transformation journeys in a long time where we are incorporating several systems to increase our efficiency by implementing a new PLM system. The journey is far from over and once the system is implemented, we need to start understanding our new world and how we can operate to increase our project excellence.

The objective

To give us a head start we would like to increase our understanding on how the new PLM system will affect the coordinators work process and what new processes will be faced when the PLM system is live.

To succeed in this assignment the student will require to conduct several interviews and document reviews to properly understand a coordinators process, both in today’s setting but also in the new PLM system. Further they would need to compile all gathered documentation in a process that is presented in a clear and understandable way. Presentation should also include in depth delta between key work packages in new and old process and possible recommendations towards the PMO department. 50/50 Split between assignment and support in our new development projects.

Proper area of education 
Bachelor or a master's in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering & management.
