Night Auditor-Front Desk

Vero Beach Inn & Suites is a premier destination in Vero Beach, known for our exceptional service and welcoming atmosphere. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our front desk team on a part-time basis. If you have a knack for numbers, enjoy working independently, and have a passion for hospitality, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities:

• Front Desk Operations: Provide excellent customer service during night shifts, including checking in and out guests, addressing inquiries, and handling reservations.
• Night Audit: Perform nightly accounting functions, including reconciling guest accounts, balancing financial transactions, and preparing end-of-day reports.
• Security: Ensure the safety and security of the hotel and its guests by monitoring surveillance systems and conducting regular property walks.
• Guest Relations: Resolve guest complaints and issues with professionalism and efficiency.
• Administrative Tasks: Complete daily paperwork, including cash handling and report generation, and ensure all records are accurately maintained.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience in a hotel or customer service role preferred, but not required.
• Skills: Strong numerical and analytical skills; proficient with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with guests and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
• Availability: Must be able to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks and responsibilities.
