Job Purpose

The National Logistics Center (NLC) Associate will be responsible for various tasks through the logistics center to include receiving of inbound material, storage of equipment, handling and shipping of equipment in an effort to support the broader goals of the organization to include pulling costs from the bottom line, supporting top-line initiatives, and provided world class customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and accurately receive inbound material
  • Accurately record all timecard transactions
  • Maintain accurate and SOX compliant records for material transactions
  • Put away and retrieve material using various equipment to include forklift and pallet jack
  • Proactively seek and communicate process improvements
  • Maintain a safe and orderly work environment
  • Complete all required training
  • Conduct self in professional manner adhering to the Associate Conduct and Responsibility Policy
  • Complete master sanitation duties within the facility
  • Efficiently and accurately ship outbound orders
  • Ensure that customers receive the highest level of customer service
  • Actively participate in team meetings
  • Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required
  • Order fulfillment experience
  • Experience with various operating systems and software, i.e. Microsoft Windows, MS Office, etc.
  • Previous experience with SAP or other ERP systems a plus but not required.
  • Ability to follow instruction and work within pre-established guidelines

Working Conditions

  • Warehouse working environment that may or may not be climate controlled.
  • Works around skilled labor, and Associates/contractors doing Warehouse manual labor
  • Works around forklifts, shipping/receiving, and hardware inventory
  • Long periods of standing and walking

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time, and when large shipments come in be able to be up and mobile working with the team
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. to handle networking equipment (firewalls, routers, switches, etc.)
  • Must be able to on your feet for extended periods.
