NLP and Computer Vision Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior NLP and Computer Vision Manager to join our team. This individual will oversee the NLP and data science teams, providing both operational and technical guidance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of object segmentation, semantic segmentation, and instance segmentation. They will also play a crucial role in fine-tuning models and ensuring the effective integration of various image data into our AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the NLP and data science teams, ensuring smooth operations and effective project execution. 
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members in the areas of NLP and computer vision. 
• Develop, implement, and fine-tune models for object segmentation, semantic segmentation, and instance segmentation. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various image data into AI systems for detecting issues in car images. 
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP and computer vision and apply them to ongoing projects. 
• Conduct code reviews, ensure best practices, and optimize algorithms for performance and accuracy. 
• Communicate technical concepts and project progress to stakeholders effectively. 

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. 
• Proven experience in NLP and computer vision, with a strong focus on object segmentation, semantic segmentation, and instance segmentation. 
• Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Py Torch, or similar. 
• Experience with image processing libraries and tools such as OpenCV, scikit-image, etc. 
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with relevant libraries (e.g., NumPy, SciPy). 
• Experience with fine-tuning models and working with large-scale datasets. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 
• Strong communication and leadership skills. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive industry or with automotive imaging data. 
• Publications or contributions to open-source projects in the field of NLP or computer vision. 
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and deployment (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
