We are seeking a pioneering NLP and Generative AI Specialist to join our innovative AI team and lead the establishment of cutting-edge NLP research and development within our organization. As the first NLP expert in the team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our AI-driven insurance solutions, driving advancements in natural language processing and generative AI that redefine customer interactions and operational efficiency in the insurance industry.

What You’ll Do: 

• Lead NLP Research and Development: Establish and spearhead research initiatives focused on natural language processing and generative AI, setting a strong foundation for innovation within the AI team.
• Develop Advanced Language Models: Design, build, and deploy state-of-the-art NLP models and generative AI solutions tailored to the unique challenges of the insurance sector.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and data science, to seamlessly integrate language models into existing platforms and workflows, enhancing user experiences and driving automation.
• Harness Data for Innovation: Design, preprocess, and analyze large-scale datasets to train and fine-tune models for complex, insurance-specific use cases.
• Stay at the Cutting Edge: Continuously monitor advancements in NLP, generative AI, and related fields, leveraging the latest breakthroughs to ensure our solutions remain ahead of the curve.
• Optimize Model Performance: Conduct thorough evaluations of model performance, implementing iterative improvements to maximize accuracy, efficiency, and scalability in real-world applications.

Basic Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying NLP models and Generative AI applications.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, transformer and LLM architectures.
• Initiative and a proactive approach, with a drive to push forward projects and ideas without waiting for instructions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with experience in frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
