Aqueity, a leader in IT managed services for businesses, is looking for a NOC Analyst to join our growing team! This position requires a skilled, highly motivated individual with technical and problem-solving skills. The NOC team works closely with the Sr. Security Engineer and all support teams, and is overseen by the CTO, to develop a strong well-rounded understanding of systems and networks. Diligence and meticulous attention to detail are key skills, along with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work appropriately. This candidate must be eager and quick to learn, must exhibit clear communication skills, and demonstrate initiative to tackle a broad range of problems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform daily system checks to ensure critical systems and services are operational
  • Respond to all service interruptions or performance problems
  • Track all trouble tickets to ensure closure of the problem in a timely manner
  • Consult with the appropriate Carriers and IT teams to resolve problems
  • Provide monitoring, escalation, and status reporting of network servers including Linux, Asterisks, and Windows servers
  • Patches and updates OS’s and firmware for network related equipment
  • Perform and maintain backups for critical systems

Education/Experience/Skills

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in an IT-related field strongly preferred, or at least 2 years of related work experience, in addition to requirements listed, combination of education/experience
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in Information Security of Networking required
  • Minimum 6 months of related experience and/or training in a technology environment
  • Extensive experience interacting with customers
  • Schedule flexibility with the ability to work non-standard business hours
  • Windows, Kaseya, ConnectWise, Fortigate / Cisco experience highly preferred
  • Technical knowledge on a number of security technologies required
  • Unix/Linux commands line experience
  • Knowledge in VoIP technologies
  • Passion for information security and data security
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills with a keen analytical and structured approach to problem-solving
  • Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills required
  • Customer service focused with strong interpersonal skills including excellent written/verbal communication skills

Salary Range: $48-58k
