IT @ Trafilea : IT professionals work on modern tech stack and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-performance scalable e-commerce platforms that drive the growth of the company's portfolio of brands. They work on projects ranging from designing ReactJS components in our library to complex AI models at the core of our applications and integrations

We need a technical leader who has  proven ability to apply technical operational knowledge and skill to a range of unique business problems. Able to put in practice good coding standards and promote them within the team. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the NOC ensuring 24/7 coverage.

• Respond promptly to incidents troubleshoot issues and implement timely resolutions.

• Collaborate with IT and other relevant teams to optimize NOC performance.

• Utilize tools such as Datadog and PagerDuty to monitor the health and performance of the e-commerce infrastructure.

• Implement proactive measures to prevent potential issues and downtime.

• Analyze and report on key performance indicators related to NOC operations.

• Lead the transition to NOC 2.0 by introducing advanced monitoring solutions and methodologies.

• Work closely with the IT team to integrate NOC 2.0 seamlessly into existing operations.

• Train the stakeholders on the new systems and processes.

• Identify areas for improvement within the NOC framework and develop strategies for enhancement.

• Conduct regular reviews of NOC performance and implement iterative improvements.

• Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies relevant to NOC operations.

• Proven experience leading a NOC or similar operational role.ç

• Proven experience operating Microservices over AWS

• Background in 24/7 operations is essential.

• Nice to have: Experience in e-commerce operations.

• Proficient in using infrastructure monitoring tools such as Datadog or New Relic.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Advanced proficiency in English both written and verbal.

• Demonstrated leadership experience particularly in driving operational improvements.

• Ability to inspire and guide a team toward achieving common goals.

• Proactive mindset towards embracing and implementing new technologies.

• Track record of contributing to the evolution of operational processes.
