Non-Affiliated Student Assistant

• Provides general computer user and software or hardware support for District 12 Administration.

• Oversees the daily performance of computer system.

• Reads technical manuals, confers with users, or conducts computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.

• Sets up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.

• Develops training materials and procedures, or trains users in the proper use of hardware or software.

• Performs data entry/retrieval functions.

• Assists with Web site maintenance.

• Provides vehicle fleet support by facilitating: cleaning exterior/interior of vehicles, monitor regular fleet services such as oil changes and inspections (onsite or off-sourced).

• Performs additional duties as assigned as part of the Student Assistant job responsibilities.
